Meir Silver, PhD
Meir has a proven track record in global life sciences and Healthcare businesses and developing innovative products and services. He has over twenty years’ experience in the medical device, and pharmaceutical industries, including ten years combined with Siemens Medical Systems and Philips Medical Systems, in roles of increasing responsibility in R&D, clinical science, and applications. He has held executive positions managing R&D, clinical research and operations, sales, marketing, service, and regulatory affairs. Meir’s experience in leadership positions in medical devices pharmaceuticals, places him in the unique position to understand market and business operations from functional and technical perspectives. He is recognized by Mass Challenge as a High-Quality Mentor. Meir received his B.S. in Physics (Hons) from Lafayette College, and his M.A. in Biophysics and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, both from The Johns Hopkins University. Meir’s PhD dissertation was the first Johns Hopkins dissertation on MRI. He has co- authored over forty peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
